it's nice to be home...

this is where i left off just before Christmas, it is the sunshine and shadow theme. i saw a photo of an antique quilt and wanted to make one, although with a different colour scheme. and i added two more logs to the design, the white and black. i love the diamond effect, and am piecing the second row at present.
isn't it nice to be home again?

xx

    1. I wanted the pink I had seen in those old quilts, and the rest of the colours fitted together. Thank you, Dawn for visiting!

  3. The addition of those extra logs - in black and white - are just right! I have not yet made a log cabin quilt. Yours is coming along nicely!
